A crud water purification system

What you will need:


2 clean buckets. If at all possible the same size, If not the purification will go into the smaller of the two.


Clean sand must be clean


Charcoal (Not the Bar-B-Que type) If this is all you have then find a way to crush it down.




   The best way to do it is to boil the water for a while at boil for a while first, or even to boil it in a completely sealed container and let the moister cool back into water form. Then in the first bucket, punch some holes in the bottom of it. Not to many. Put in alternating layers of charcoal and sand. Poor in water.
